Slow Down, World. You're Spinning Too Fast

You'd think that after an entire summer of chasing my four little savages about the Alaskan countryside, I'd be relieved to send the older girls off to school . . . but I am already missing my loud, messy, crazy daughters.

10 years old and headed for 5th grade; 12 years old and ready for junior high
Guess which one used her own money to buy non-prescription fashion glasses
so that she could look like her big sister?

Dinner last night: honey chicken, rice, corn on the cob

Awww, they're already to go and looking so chic! :-) I hope school goes well for your girls! I don't even want to think about how fast that comes around. Have a great day!

My daughter bought some of those too! I never had a sense of style at that age. Where do they get it?

Those are some funky frames! Let us know how long before she tires of them (or loses them!) LOL

They are so cute and stylish. I'm pretty sure I never looked that good when starting school.

Stopping over from SITS. Your girls are so cute and stylish!! Had my girls home all summer and I too was pining for the days when the house was quiet while they were away at school. That is until they went back to school on Tuesday. Then I was pining for the loud, crazy days of summer. :(

Hello from Indiana! Found you on a blog hop. I just sent my two girls off to school this week, and our youngest is starting Kindergarten, so that means I finally get a bit of ME time back. We farm, though, so my husband is always in and out.

I have heard so much about your beautiful state and look forward to visiting it one day! Stop by and see me at www.walkingtheoff-beatenpath.blogspot.com

Your girls are looking sharp! They look as if they are ready to be in school and around their friends. Good job mom.
