Icy Morning, Warm Heart

The upside to our recent cold snap can be found in the spectacular skies, with swaths of pink and blue backlighting the trees at the break of 9:00 a.m. What a way to start my day!

Breathtaking! Sunrises & sunsets are why I love the color orange.

But are the toilets flushing?

Gorgeous. I haven't seen the sun in so long. It's one of the things I don't like about my job.

What a mouth-watering scene. You really should get a job with your local tourist authority, you're making me want to visit Alaska.

I keep worrying about you when they talk about the snowicane. Hope y'all are staying warm.

I love that rosy morning sky.

I remember spending a winter in Quebec and being so confused when the sun didn't come up until around 8:30 or 9 and was already setting at 3.
