A Prayer in Spring

Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.

Spring is my favorite time of the year. For me, June 21 comes too soon every Spring.

I enjoyed my little virtunal trip to Alaska today via your blog. Your kids look to be having so much fun on the sand dunes. 60 degree weather is acceptable beach weather for us too. If we hit the 70's in England it's called a 'heat wave'! Congratulations to your daughter too on her science award. Great news.
Hope you are having a good weekend.

I couldn't comment on your most recent post - not sure why?

We have pretty much skipped spring here and gone straight to summer. But that is okay because I can't get enough of the sunshine. I love your pictures!

Beautiful poem and a gorgeous pic to go along with it. Makes me want to kick up my feet and relax too!

It still feels like winter here...it's been in the 60's and rainy. I think Mother Nature is confused.

I couldn't find the place to comment on your Memorial weekend post. Great pictures btw. I'm pretty sure your weekend beat up the weekend of many. Most people had a rainy one.
