End of Summer

Somebody forgot to tell Alaska that the first day of autumn doesn't arrive until Tuesday.

Guess who'll be sweeping her deck this weekend?

I love when the leaves turn gold.

And the reds! Aren't fall colors gorgeous?!

Time to haul out the harvest decorations. I've got a scarecrow with a WELCOME sign to hang on my front door and a mat in the shape of a pumpkin to lay down for guests with muddy shoes. It's fall, ya'll.

Dinner last night: pizza

You're a few weeks ahead of us in England. The leaves are just starting to change colour here but it's still pretty warm. When does it feel like winter in Alaska?

Awesome pics! We are starting to notice signs here in Ohio, but the days are still quite warm.

Hope your summer has been going well!

sigh ... can I tell you it's still --- wait for it --- 80 here in KY??
But 60 at night. I need to start switching out the fall/summer clothes, but it's hard, when you can wear both in one day!

I don't even have to tell you what the weather is like in Mississippi, right?

It looks beautiful there, but isn't it always? Still hoping to get up there one day.

I'm so envious!! Can you believe it's still 100 degrees here in my neck of the woods?? I'm dying to unpack all our fall clothes and start eating soup again but apparently Mother Nature has something else up her sleeve!

We had the worst "fall" weather on the last day of summer. I am resisting the urge to turn on the heat.
